Oh my was our holiday filled with cheer! We traveled south to spend time with friends and loved ones in Boise, which ensured a very busy, fun-filled week. The fun started off with an evening at Grandma and Papa Crist's. We are all so happy to have Papa home from his six month deployment in Afghanistan. River warmed right up to Papa, quickly running off to him for some quality play or even cuddles.

Magnolia woke Christmas morning to a letter from Santa...this shot of Zac reading her the letter still fills me with the feeling of joy and magic that exuberated from her at that moment!
She also FINALLY had her question answered!
Who knew a little fairy magic and solar power could keep Rudolph's nose burning bright all night...;)
And on to Christmas morning at Grandma Tara's...
Some special gifts shared
Amoo's newest Kim Barnes' book, autographed with a special note...oh how I love the perks of living in Moscow...this seemed to make her day!
And a delicious (did I mention delicious?) Christmas dinner compliments of Aunt Sara
(and yes, Mags is still in PJ's)
We had a wonderful evening at the Winter Garden aGlow with the Luangaphay's!
Our attempt to get all four in a picture together...
There are moments when I miss Boise so much...some of our favorite people, our favorite activities and places to be are tied there...there is NEVER enough time to see everyone we would like to see, and do everything there that we love to do...
We love all of you dearly, and throw out a huge THANKS for all the love and generosity over this last year and holiday season!
