Morning on the Farm

Neighbor Pal Tyler and his mama Stephanie invited Maggie and I to join them at a friend's farm to watch the sheep shearing. Maggie has been interested in wool...it's process from sheep to yarn, so this was a highly anticipated little adventure for Miss Magnolia! Sara and Sage are in town visiting so they joined us too for a fantastic morning on the farm...exploring, photographing, riding, snacking, laughing, and more....it was a blast!

Off to round up the sheep!

Searching for eggs

They were a loud bunch....protesting the day's activity!

The baby of the bunch...ahhhhh!

Feathered friends!

Freshly sheared!

Maggie's favorite farm friend of the day....Caramel, the horse!

Sage and Aunt Sara Visiting with Caramel

"I do want to be a farmer!"

Aunt Sara, Sage and Magnolia braving the wind, with big smiles on their faces!

Caramel even obliged with some kid rides!

Checking the fleece from the farm's ram---beautiful!
