I absolutely love having a son. It is such a very different relationship than I have with my daughter, both equally amazing.
During a quick trip to Sandpoint we ventured out with family into the woods...River was ready to hike too...ALL BY HIMSELF! or "RIBER!" as I'm told very frequently throughout the day...meaning this little boy of mine has become an independent little person.
Of course keeping pace with the rest of the fam proved a bit difficult, so instead River and I hung back, explored everything, slipped around on the ice for fun, and searched for clues.
I absolutely love this sweet boy.
